However, she was killed when the Wraith culled his planet. Friendships: Ronon’s two best friends are John Sheppard and Teyla Emmagen. They have been with him from the moment he kidnapped them. He also has a great amount of respect for Carson Beckett, and considers him a friend. As for Rodney - Ronon tolerates him. Sexuality: Straight Strengths: Ronon is a weapons specialist, and is a very good fighter. Weaknesses: Ronon tends to keep things inside him, and doesn’t feel comfortable sharing his feelings. He doesn’t talk a lot about his time on Sateda before the Wraith culled it. Habits/Quirks: Ronon has a habit of shooting first and asking questions later. He always has his blaster with him and likes to twirl it around in his fingers. Since he’s a big guy, he tends to take up a lot of space. He likes to stretch out and put his feet up on tables and chairs. Personality: Ronon is guarded with his past and feelings. He tends to hold grudges, and rarely gets over them. When someone wins his respect, he considers them his friend and is loyal to them. He takes his job on Atlantis seriously. He’s quick to protect innocent people, and hurt those who hurt others. Ronon tends not to follow the rules, especially those put in place by the IOA. What was your character doing before they arrived on the island? Ronon was born on the planet of Sateda. From a young age, he was taught how to properly handle weapons by his father. When he was six, his grandfather died from the disease Second Childhood. As he got older, Ronon knew he wanted to join the Sateda military. He found a mentor and when he was old enough, he joined. He met Melena soon after and fell in love. Ronon knew he wanted to marry her but his plans were put on hold when word came about the Wraith coming to cull his planet. He was part of the army that fought them, and he saw many of his friends and loved ones killed. The Wraith took him to feed on but when they saw he could tolerate a lot of pain, they decided to make him into a Runner. For five years, Ronon was hunted by the Wraith. One day he was on a planet and came in contact with John and Teyla. He kidnapped them and said he would release them if they could get his tracking device out. Carson came and removed it. Ronon went back to Atlantis and found out his entire planet had been destroyed. With John’s and Teyla’s help, Ronon adjusted to life on Atlantis and became the weapon specialist for John’s team. His friendship with Teyla grew deeper and Ronon found himself having feelings for her. He also developed feelings for Jennifer Keller, but didn’t act on it. It was obvious Teyla was happy with Kaanan and Jennifer seemed more interested in McKay. One day, while Ronon was speaking to Woosley, Michael invaded Atlantis. He wanted Teyla and her young son. Ronon did his best to help defend the city but it was Teyla who ended up killing Michael. The day after the invasion, Ronon went with Major Lorne’s team for a quick mission and ended up on the island. Ronon joins the game after the season five episode “The Prodigal”. | |||||||||
